Shanda M. McKenney, Associate Shanda M. McKenney obtained an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education / Social Studies from Oklahoma State University in 1998 and her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2002. Before joining Love, Beal & Nixon, P.C., Mrs. McKenney has worked for the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and practiced criminal law in the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office for three years. Mrs. McKenney most recently practiced in the General Litigation Department of Crowe & Dunlevy, where she was involved in all aspects of litigation, discovery, trial preparation and trial. Her primary area of responsibility, shared with William Nixon and Michael Morrison, is handling collection files that become contested, litigated matters. She also assists Layla Dougherty with replevin matters, as needed.
